Introduction

The Opening Reception of the Association was held on 29 November 2018 at the Ankara Wyndham Hotel with the participation of Ak Party Vice President, Head of Foreign Relations, Mr. Cevdet Yilmaz and the former Minister of Forestry & Water Affairs and Afyonkarahisar Deputy Prof. Dr. Veysel Eroğlu. Under the patronage of the Minister of Trade, Mr. Ruhsar Pekcan.

Also, in attendance were Mr. Fatih Metin and many of our deputies, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, Yu Hongyang, the Undersecretary of Trade, the Undersecretary of Culture, the Representative of the Bank of China, the representatives of Chinese companies which have investments in Turkey and Beşiktaş Vice-President Deniz Atalay and
our businessmen and bureaucrats who are members of our association.

Aim of the Association

The aims of the “Turkey-China Business Development and Support Association” is to improve and strengthen existing social, cultural, economic and touristic relations between the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Turkey as well as to adopt the stance that developing economic, commercial and cultural connections between our two countries, amid which mutual historic ties exist, will greatly benefit world peace and the peoples of our two countries. Furthermore, to create strong and sustainable relations in all areas, to mutually promote social and cultural assets of both countries, and making efforts towards prompting the mutually existing potential in trade, industry, education and science, consequently achieving even closer ties between the people of our two countries, and ensuring continued the state of peace and tranquillity is the main aim of our association.
